From the Director’s Desk...

In this time of great concern over our country’s financial instability, changes in leadership, and unrest in the world; it is a critical season for us as believers.

It is particularly disconcerting in the natural, for a ministry that operates solely by the generosity of individuals and churches who have a heart to give.

As we were reviewing our finances and feeling very much alone, we began to pray and seek God. Our prayer has been, “Lord, what should we do? Finances are at an all time low. We need to pay our bills. How are we going to keep the home going?”

God is so faithful in giving us answers through His Word.

Psalm 121:3-4 says, “He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over you will neither slumber nor sleep.”

Isaiah 49:15-16 says, “Can a woman forget her nursing child and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely, though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands…”

With God’s Word in our hearts we are moving ahead by faith, trusting God to meet us on every side!

People ask me, “What can I do to help?” There are lots of ways to get involved.

  • First, you can begin to pray. Pray for the staff, women, and children. Pray that God would supply all our needs, open the windows of heaven, and pour out a blessing that we can not contain.

  • Second, you can give. We need those who will commit to give monthly and those that will give a one – time gift to help.

  • Third, you can adopt a room. Due to the number of people and the wear and tear of the home, every so often the rooms need to be refurbished. We are asking for individuals, churches, and businesses to adopt a room. This means “taking a bedroom”, for example, and painting, decorating, supplying new window treatments, bedspreads, and providing flooring. If you or your group is interested in “adopting a room” please contact us so we can get the process going. It would be wonderful to have the rooms completed by the holidays.

We are looking forward to hearing from you. Your participation in this work is critical for the furtherance of this ministry.

In His love,

George and Grace
